Setting a custom range for playback fader

Postby headytech » Thu May 09, 2019 11:19 pm

I want to program a playback fader so that when it is all the way down, it is outputting no value, when I start moving it up it starts at say DMX value 100, and then has a maximum of say 200.

Is this possible to do? I have a strobe fixture that has 3 different strobe types on the same DMX channel and I'd like to be able to set a playback for each of them so I can move it up to change the speed without worrying about crossing into the other strobe types.

No value is not possible DMX sends always something. But for example, you want a range between 200 and 100:
- record a cue with value 200 in a playback
- record a cue with value 100 in the same playback
- in the cue stack options, set Faders releases stack to NO
- in the cue stack options, set Fader controls manual crossfades to YES
