With windows i'm able to convert. Is the procedure quiete different from windows to ubuntu (xubuntu?).

I installed UBuntu restricted extra, and ffmpeg, but nothing is changig.

Did you rename your file correctly?
in a folder named by example "010" (must be at least 10) and the file "001_your_file.mp4"

What do you mean to rename the file correctly?
I have tried in various ways without results.
I put my files in my "convert" folder, then I click on convert files, I select a folder (for example 012, and file no. 002: what name I give to the folder where required?), And I do not get any results.
Even with the wing attached, no results.
I'm missing some step?
is there any known problem with codecs or video formats?
The graphics card and its performance have any significance in the translation?
Thank you very much Paul

On Windows it works here. So maybe a linux releated problem.

and then? which solution you propose? anyone in the world using magichd with linux or i'm alone?
You believe to move forward in developing the software in linux, or is it a dead end?
I have to change operating system? is this the answer?
