Robe XT150 Wash Missing Colour

Postby starburst events » Tue Mar 03, 2015 2:26 pm

Hi There

We have recently converted to Chamsys MagicQ PC and just bought a pc wing via the forum.

Whilst using a friend's wing to practice on, I have noticed that we can't get green to work on our Robe xt150 wash moving heads.

Anyone know an easy fix?

Generally we are finding Chamsys great having progressed from ADJ 'My DMX'. Has anyone else noticed their lights perform significantly better and brighter with this console system?

Kind regards, Mike

it's present in the wheels, you only have to create palette for that

Hi Lorenzo

The colour palette in the software shows green, but when you select it, it does nothing!

Hi Mike,

Is it possible to select the color green by tapping the Col (x) button instead of the color pallettes? I've attatched a screenshot where you can find the button. When you tap this button, chamsys will jump to the next color mounted on the color wheel of your movinghead. Keep tapping until you're arrived at the color green.

When you are arrived at the color green, you can record it into your color pallete. The following youtube link explains how to record it into a color pallette and in a head file. You can find more useful chamsys tricks on this account (credits to ceecrb1).
