59.1. New Features

MQ50 and MQ70 consoles display a logo during boot.

Fix external touchscreen support on MQ50 and MQ70 consoles (broken in 1.8.7.6).

Fix issue when Cue Stack with mark cues causing a crash in the Timeline Editor #25608

Fixed transparent/invisible windows being shown on Mac and Windows at startup and when resizing the main window.

Fixed issue on MQ50 and MQ70 consoles where, occasionally, returning from startup menu into MagicQ would hang the console for 30s, and subsequently disable audio in and out until reboot.

On MagicQ PC, the list of available IP addresses now excludes loopback, link local addresses and adaptors which are not ethernet or wifi.

MagicVis will try to use the more powerful GPU on Windows laptops with 2 GPU’s.

Fix issue with timecode simulation not running from v1.8.7.7 #25592.

Fix custom image files not outputting in the Pixel Mapper when they were in .png format.

MagicHD Fixed keystone which stopped working from v1.8.7.7.

Improved the manual cross fade motor control on the MQ500M, this requires a firmware upgrade to the MQ500M Playback board and MQ500M Motor Controller, this is 310-022_V0.07.hex and 310-021_V0.11.hex or higher respectively. Refer to Upgrading MQ500M Stadium firmware section of the manual.

Fixed MQ500M Playback board losing connection with MagicQ when executing time consuming tasks, i.e. patching thousands of fixtures. This requires the update to 310-022_V0.07.hex or higher. Refer to Upgrading MQ500M Stadium firmware section of the manual.
