QuickQ v2.0 introduces Theatre Mode. This turns Playback 1 into a theatre cue stack that never releases and with 'Move While Dark' functionality. Playback 2 becomes a manual crossfader for the theatre stack.
To turn on Theatre Mode click on Settings in the menu then select Theatre Mode.
Default Palettes.
On the QuickQ console setting all the faders to 0 and clearing the programmer will return all fixtures to their default positions. The default positions are stored in the first palette in each Attribute window. To change the default values simply record some new values into the first palette, which is labelled as Default.
Other New Features
The Cue Stack window now follows the current playback, the same as MagicQ.
The Cue Stack window now has Play and Pause controls for the current cue stack.
The DEF and SNAP buttons are now operational. DEF make the fixtures white, and a second press will make them red, SNAP makes all the selected fixtures the same colour.
Fade times will now update properly on active playbacks.
Fix the 'Show Loaded' dialog showing changes to show file. It was bigger than the application window on the Offline Editor.
Fix issue where recording over a cue would not take effect until the playback fader was pulled down and then up again. #0019171
Fix issue where the playback background colour would not change when cues where recorded or the playback was removed.
Fix intensity control of LED fixtures with virtual dimmers. The physical faders and virtual faders in the Intensity window did not set virtual dimmers properly.
Fix issue in the Attribute windows where the palette buttons would not update after the fixture selection had changed.
Fix Record All function. Pressing the Record button, then Optionsand All will make QuickQ record the entire output into a cue. It did not work in v1.0. The recorded levels are a snapshot of the outputs so effects will not be recorded.
Faders in QuickQ Offline Designer now follow the mouse better and are easier to fade to 100%.
